The launch event, to be held at the Ribbiz UltraLounge, is the precursor to the main event: Dream Wknd Negril, August 2-6, 2024.

Guests can anticipate an exhilarating evening highlighted by performances from top local DJs who will offer a glimpse into the excitement waiting at Dream Wknd Negril.

Building on this momentum, the Dream team recently hosted successful launches in Negril and Montego Bay, drawing significant crowds. Additionally, they extended the Dream experience to the Jamaican Diaspora in New York and the U.K., providing a preview of the festivities planned for August 2nd.

Ron Burke, Festival Director, is amped up and ready for the festivities to begin.

“As a precursor to the celebrations, the launch is a sneak peek into the exhilarating atmosphere and vibrant energy that will define Dream Wknd this year. We have pulled out all the stops to ensure that patrons are entertained from the minute they get to Negril, to the minute they leave. This launch is really a reminder to our Dreamers that the best summer experience is only a few days away,” explained Burke.

Throughout the evening, DJs Theron and DJ Quann curated an electrifying playlist featuring hits from Vybz Kartel, Popcaan, Masicka, and Aidonia, igniting the crowd with their infectious beats. Their musical prowess shone through as they skillfully blended afrobeat and soca tunes, captivating patrons and keeping them dancing throughout the night. This vibrant event at Pier One marked another successful step in building excitement for the upcoming anniversary festivities of Dream Wknd.
