Celebrities revel in Jamaica’s carnival experience

The highly anticipated Carnival in Jamaica was celebrated by both locals and several celebrities who traveled to the island to take part.

This year’s festivities took place in the streets of Kingston on Sunday, April 16.

From models Winnie Harlow and Markie Markland, to actresses Jerrie Johnson and Shoniqua Shandai from the show Harlem, Jamaica's Carnival brought out the celebrities for the vibrant celebration.

Chance the Rapper was also seen enjoying the experience with the carnival band Xodus.

Singer Omarion and comedienne Jessie Woo also basked in the Caribbean culture along with Fashion Designer Carly Cushnie.

Omarion said he enjoyed the experience, indicating that he will be back next year. The American R&B singer was joined by his brother O’Ryan Browner as part of EBONY Magazine's Jamaica Carnival experience.

EBONY Magazine shared many snippets on their Instagram page of the weekend celebration, highlighting the celebrities and their enjoyment during the festivities.

EBONY and United Airlines partnered to host a select group of celebrities, influencers, and VIP guests during a visit to the island from April 12 through to April 18.
