Two Jamaican participants in the Canadian farm work program reportedly got into a fight, resulting in the arrest of one individual.
This incident unfolded at an Ontario farm, just days before their scheduled return to Jamaica.
The workers were returning home as the crop finished recently.
Reason behind the altercation is unclear
According to Jamaican media reports, it is unclear what led to the altercation.
Reports are that one worker suffered stab wounds. The injured worker received prompt medical attention and was briefly hospitalized.
