Negotiations regarding the country’s border policies

Speaking with the Caribbean Media Corporation, NYIC’s Executive Director, Murad Awawdeh said his umbrella group, along with 150 New York immigrant advocates and impacted people, rallied in the nation’s capital on Tuesday as negotiations regarding the country’s border policies are set to continue this week in the US Senate.

Reports are that many of the migrants and asylum seekers entering New York from the US Southern Border are nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.
