In just 90 days, Jamaican Khadejah Davis went from franchise rookie to millionaire, becoming one of the first U.S. franchisees of Juici Patties and raking in $1 million in revenue from her inaugural location. But the powerhouse entrepreneur isn’t stopping there.
Speaking to CanvasRebel, Davis described her journey: “I’m Khadejah Davis, a proud 4x franchisee owner, each marking a significant step in my journey from healthcare to multipreneurship. My background as a nurse instilled in me a deep commitment to helping others, and that same commitment drives my approach to business today.”
Before stepping into the business world, Davis worked as a registered nurse for nearly 20 years. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix and is currently completing her PhD in Nursing Education at Nova University. Her background in healthcare, she says, shaped her approach to entrepreneurship.
Davis, alongside business partner Jahmel Douglas, opened her first Juici Patties location in April 2024 at 5419 N University Dr, Lauderhill, FL 33351. Now, she’s preparing to launch her second location in Palm Beach. Together, the duo made history as among the first franchisees to follow Rhea Wright, who opened Juici Patties’ inaugural U.S. store in Hollywood just a month before.
Juici Patties aims to establish 3,000 locations nationwide. Davis and Douglas plan to launch several more stores of their own, helping to introduce more Americans to the flavors of Jamaica.
Juici Patties provides franchisees with extensive support, including guidance on site selection, restaurant design, staff training, and ongoing operations, with a dedicated app to streamline the process. Franchisees must show “a great attitude” and have at least US$125,000 in liquid capital, according to Juici Director Daniel Chin.
“Bringing this brand to the American market was a bold move, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see how well it has connected with customers. I’m passionate about offering something unique and culturally rich to my community, and Juici Patties has allowed me to do just that,” she said.
But Davis’ impact goes far beyond her own bottom line. Now a franchise coach and success strategist, she’s made it her mission to help other women build wealth through franchising.
She’s paying it forward through her book, “Multipreneur’s Playbook: A Comprehensive Game Plan for Success,” offering aspiring entrepreneurs a practical guide to transition from employees to business owners. Her blueprint helps women skip the guesswork and fast-track their journey in franchising.
Through coaching, community-building, and a focus on generational impact, Davis isn’t just stacking wins—she’s building a movement.
