Jamaica reports growing interest in 10th Biennial Diaspora Conference

The Jamaican Government is reporting a significant surge in interest from diverse stakeholders ahead of the upcoming 10th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference, slated for June 16 to 19 in Montego Bay, St. James.

Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Hon. Alando Terrelonge, underscores the remarkable outreach from private-sector entities and stakeholders, highlighting their eagerness to participate in the diaspora homecoming, a cornerstone of the event.

Diaspora-led sponsorship breakthrough

Terrelonge reveals a milestone as the conference secures sponsorship from diaspora members, with Blue Mahoe Capital, led by a Florida-based diasporan, stepping up as a platinum sponsor, marking the first-ever diaspora-led sponsorship.

Record sponsorship boosts confidence

The State Minister expresses satisfaction with the record number of sponsors, emphasizing their tangible contributions towards ensuring the conference’s significance and rewards for all attendees.
