Last Sunday Lauderhill Jammers and Ambassador came out victorious over their opponents Southshore and Port St. Lucie respectively in week five of South Florida Cricket Alliance 35 over competition.

Southshore who won the toss and decided to bat first, was bowled out for a mere 72 runs in 23.3 overs. At the end of the 18th over at the water break, Southshore was 67 for 2. Upon resumption, the next six wickets fell for five runs with left arm spinner and man of the match Stephen Casey responsible for the damage with 5 wickets for 4 runs from three overs which also include a maiden.
Bradley Chung 25 and Michael Nembhard 21 were the only two batsmen with double figures for Southshore who batted two men short.
Lauderhill Jammers in replying made quick work of the small total reaching the target in 6.2 overs with a final score of 76 for 1. Gavin Wallace made 31 not out, Timmy Surujbally 21 and former West Indies and Jamaica player Shawn Findlay 14 not out. Michael Nembhard took the lone wicket to fall for 23 runs. Lauderhill Jammers won by nine wickets.
Port St. Lucie vs. Ambassadors at Girl Scout Friendship Park in Port St. Lucie.
Ambassadors won the toss and took first strike, made 276 for 9 from their allotted 35 overs. Ken Wright topscored with 71, Courtney Williams 55, Cornel Peart 50 Not Out and Leon Tulloch 26. Bowling for Port St. Lucie, Anton Alleyne 4 for 61 from seven overs and Roy Morrison 3 for 30 from six overs.
In reply Port St. Lucie made 196 for 4 from their allotted 35 overs. Roger Joshua topscored in a losing cause with 57, Richard Louis 44 and Kavin Fernando 33. The pick of the bowler for Ambassador was Cedric with 2 for 25 from fiver overs, giving Ambassador victory by 86 runs.
