The star, who thrilled many Jamaicans last Saturday night with a concert with many top celebrities on the grounds of Jamaica House in St. Andrew, is hoping to deliver US$1 million to the hospital.

Through his Rae Town apparel, the star says 100 percent of profits from the sale of the ‘Shaggy and Friends’ concert tee-shirt will also go directly tohelping the hospital.

The Shaggy and Friends concert featured top celebrities like Sting, Wyclef Jean and Dough E.  Fresh, along with soca stars Benji Garlin and Faye Ann Lyons, and reggae’s Capleton, Aidonia, Dexta Daps, Junior Reid, Professor Nuts, Barrington Levy, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Rayvon, Wayne Wonder, Shenseea, Third World, Christopher Martin and Romain Virgo.

Sting, former Police frontman, started his extended performance with ‘Every Breath You Take,’ ‘Message in a Bottle,’ ‘Fields of Gold’ and ‘Roxanne,’ as well as  a new track with Shaggy titled “Don’t Make Me Wait.”
