The Coronation Ceremony will take place at 6 am (Eastern Caribbean Time)  at Westminster Abbey and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader and the prime ministers of St Kitts and Nevis and Grenada were some of the latest regional leaders to confirm their attendance at the historic event.

Abinader received his official invite from United Kingdom Ambassador to the DR and Haiti, Mockbul Ali, earlier this week.

“As President of the Dominican Republic, with my wife @raquelarbaje, we will attend the historic coronation ceremony of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, on May 6 in London. We thank Your Majesties for this invitation that strengthens our relationship,” Abinader said in a tweet.

Grenada announced that Governor General Dame Cécile La Grenade and Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell would lead a delegation that includes UK based Grenadian athletes Afy Fletcher and Lindon Victor.

St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew will be accompanied by a delegation which includes Governor-General, Dame Marcella Liburd and Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley.

The leaders of Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana and Belize are already in London and are using the time before the coronation to meet with UK business and political leaders.

President Dr Mohammed Irfaan Ali met with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to discuss ways to position Guyana as a key player in climate, food and energy security.
