Buju Banton Featured on “Bad Boys For Life” Soundtrack

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dancehall veteran Buju Banton will be featured on the soundtrack of “Bad Boys For Life”, the third installment of the “Bad Boys” franchise, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie, confirmed on Instagram that he is part of the soundtrack, contributing a song titled “Murda She Wrote”, a nod to the 1994 dancehall hit of the same name by Chaka Demus & Pliers.

The soundtrack will be released on January 17, the same day that the movie opens in theatres.

The soundtrack is being produced by Buju’s longtime friend, Grammy-award winning Producer, DJ Khaled. On his Instagram, DJ Khalid posted: “CEO of @wethebestmusic I’m honored to have the official @badboys soundtrack on @wethebestmusic as this is the first release from @wethebestmusic of 2020 with more to come this year! ”

Buju joins some of hip-hop’s biggest stars on the soundtrack which includes Rick Ross, the Black Eyed Peas, Meek Mill, Pitbull, Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, and more.
