Japan is a land shrouded in mystery and rooted in rich history. Tokyo is synonymous with development and technology; however, folklore and the traditional arts are still very much alive in the rural parts of Northern Japan. This exhibit of works by photographers Carina Mask and Christina Mendenhall illustrates the balance of old and new on the mainland of Honshu. Meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments at our free Opening Reception. “Finding Home” will be on display from May 17 through July 6.

Disney’s “Frozen JR.”
Sunday, May 19, at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Sunrise Civic Center Theatre
“Frozen JR.” – based on Disney’s 2018 Broadway musical – brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. “Frozen JR.” is presented by the talented youth performers of Inside Out Theatre.
