Miami-Dade’s Community Relations Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Committee to discuss coping with increased hate crimes

The Miami-Dade County Community Relations Board (CRB), under the Office of Community Advocacy, will hold its Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Committee meeting at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, FL, 18th floor, conference room 18-2.

 This meeting will focus on how police departments are responding to the increase in hate crimes and the way these departments are preparing to protect targeted groups in Miami-Dade County.

 All meetings of the Community Relations Board are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the work of the board. There will be an opportunity for attendees to comment at the beginning of the meeting.
