South Florida Cricket Round-Up – Palm Beach Titans, Lauderhill Jammers Emerge The Victors

Palm Beach Titans defeated Ambassador by 6 wickets while Lauderhill Jammers won over Southshore by 21 runs to emerge the victors in the South Florida Cricket Alliance competition last weekend.

At John Prince Park, Ambassador batted first, scoring 125 runs from their allotted 20 overs. Halden Martin reached 53 with 2 fours and 4 sixes while Oniel Walker added 20, which included 4 fours. Leon Tulloch pitched in 13.

Bowling for Palm Beach Titans, Andre Fraser, Fizal Mohammed and Imran Hossain each bagged 2 for 13 and 34, respectively. In reply, the Titans reached the target of 126 runs in 18 over while losing only 4 wickets.

Andre Fraser top scored with 41 runs, which included 4 fours and 3 sixes while Fizal Mohammed added 19 and Iman Hossain 17. There was 25 extras in the Titans inning.

Bowling for Ambassador, Michael Laing took 2 for 19 but Titans won by 6 wickets.

Meanwhile, at MAQ Ground, Lauderhill Jammers reached 166 for 6 from their 20 overs. Dean Morgan added a whopping 63, which included 1 four and 5 sixes while Simeon Pierre added 57, which included 2 fours and 5 sixes.

Bowling for Southshore, Rohan Ebanks and Byron Bowes each took 2 wickets for 25 and 33, respectively.

Southshore in replay could only reach145 for 5. Damion Rowe added a brilliant 91 in the losing cause while Rohan Ebanks contributed 17 not-out and Dwayne James, 16.

Omari Williams was the pick of the bowler for the Jammers, bagging 2 for 16 from his allotted4 overs to hand his side the win by 21 runs.
