With just a few weeks before the end of summer 2025, Gramps Morgan, three-time Grammy Award winner and soulful voice of Morgan Heritage, sets out on his very first solo U.S. tour.
After decades of touring the globe as part of the legendary family band, Gramps is now ready to share a new chapter of his artistry with audiences across America.
The tour, aptly titled No Water In My Whiskey, kicks off on September 26 in the Bronx, New York, before making its way to Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Gramps will be joined onstage by his two talented sons, delivering a show that blends family, reggae, and the depth of his own musical storytelling. The title of the tour comes from his recent single, a song that celebrates joy, unity, and keeping the energy pure.
This tour is just the latest highlight in what has already been a milestone year for the reggae star. In April, he earned a nomination for Male Reggae Artist of the Year at the Caribbean Music Awards, which will be held in Brooklyn on August 28. He’s also continued to expand his creative reach with projects like The Gingerbread Mon, a children’s audiobook that has touched young listeners worldwide. Earlier this year, he graced stages at major festivals in the Cayman Islands and Trinidad, performing alongside reggae icons Stephen Marley and Buju Banton, while also representing his Jamaican roots as a cultural ambassador. Adding to his achievements, one of his tracks was recently featured in Tyler Perry’s new film Madea’s Destination Wedding, introducing his music to an even broader global audience.
Fans attending the No Water In My Whiskey shows can expect a heartfelt setlist that weaves together Gramps’ solo gems like Positive Vibration, Have a Little Light, and People Like You with new music and a few surprises. Known for his rich, emotive voice and uplifting stage presence, Gramps is promising an intimate yet powerful live experience, one that reflects both his personal journey and his commitment to keeping reggae’s soul alive.
