City of Sunrise gears up for Job Fair and 4th of July celebrations

The City of Sunrise is buzzing with excitement as it prepares for two major events this June and July — South Florida’s largest job fair and a full day of Independence Day festivities.

South Florida’s Biggest Job Fair — June 26

The Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers’ home arena, Amerant Bank Arena, will transform into a massive job fair on Wednesday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 100 hiring managers will be onsite, offering thousands of jobs across a wide range of industries. Attendees can expect immediate interviews and offers, making this a prime opportunity for job seekers in the region.

Admission and parking are completely free, and early registration is encouraged.

4th of July Parade, Family Fun & Fireworks — July 4

Don’t miss the City of Sunrise’s 2025 Independence Day celebrations on Friday, July 4 — a full day of patriotic fun for the whole family.

“The Great Outdoors” Parade and Family Fun Day

🕘 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
📍 City Park, 6600 Sunset Strip
Admission is free!

The morning kicks off with themed floats and marching units parading west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park. After the parade, families can enjoy snow cones, the park playground, splash pad, and a special Fun Zone featuring:

  • Inflatable water slide

  • Obstacle course

  • Rock wall

The nighttime celebration features live entertainment by Paradigm Party Band, a kids’ fun zone, food trucks, and vendors — all culminating in a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

Event safety rules:
The following are prohibited at Amerant Bank Arena:
Backpacks, bags larger than 12″ x 12″, coolers, glass bottles, alcohol, weapons, drones, fireworks, pets, and bicycles. (Bike parking is available — bring a lock.)
