Among the most buzzworthy announcements is the inclusion of Vybz Kartel. The “Worl’ Boss,” involvement adds undeniable energy and anticipation, especially given the global interest in his catalog since his release from incarceration.

Also headlining are international breakout stars Shenseea and Masicka, whose continued genre-blending appeal has made them two of the most in-demand names in dancehall today. They’re joined by reggae artists; Tarrus Riley, Protoje, and Lila Iké, who bring conscious lyrics and soulful sound to the stage.

The festival also packs a heavy punch with dancehall firebrands like Tommy Lee Sparta, Skeng, Govana, D’Yani, and Shaneil Muir, representing the grit and pulse of the genre’s evolving landscape. From lovers rock to trap-dancehall, Sumfest 2025 is curating a sonic experience that reflects the diversity of Jamaica’s music scene.

Adding further depth to the lineup are seasoned voices like I Wayne, Laden, Fantan Mojah, Bugle, and more—artists known for their conscious messages, militant delivery, and unwavering dedication to the roots of reggae culture.

Tickets went on sale April 18, and early sales already suggest strong interest among fans. Reggae Sumfest 2025 is poised to be a major draw for the diaspora and music lovers worldwide.

Reggae Sumfest, launched in 1993, has grown into the Caribbean’s most celebrated summer music festival. Known for its blend of live band sets, high-energy performances, and cultural showcases, the week-long affair typically includes beach parties, sound clashes, and special tributes that shine a spotlight on the island’s enduring musical legacy.

With this year’s lineup reading like a who’s who of Jamaican music—and more names expected to be added—fans are encouraged to secure tickets early and prepare for a week of pure vibes under the Montego Bay sun.
