JOHN’S, Antigua–Cricket West Indies (CWI) president Dr. Kishore Shallow has showered accolades on the West Indies men’s cricket team following their sensational 120-run victory over Pakistan in the second Test at Multan on Monday—a historic feat that ended a 34-year drought of Test wins on Pakistani soil.
The resounding triumph, which saw the Caribbean side dominate the hosts inside three days, was spearheaded by the brilliant Jomel Warrican, who delivered an extraordinary bowling performance, clinching a record-equalling 19 wickets across the two-match series.
Dr. Shallow, in an official statement issued on Monday, lauded the squad for their resilience, tactical discipline, and unwavering spirit, describing the victory as a true embodiment of West Indian cricketing excellence.
