Brianna Lyston chooses Adidas for NIL Deal, balances athletic and academic pursuits

Louisiana State University (LSU) standout athlete Brianna Lyston has inked a significant Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with global sportswear brand Adidas, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career.

The 19-year-old, who captured the World U-20 200m title in 2022, took to Instagram to share her excitement about the partnership. “Blessed to announce my partnership with Adidas through NIL,” she wrote, quoting Philippians 2:13 in her post.

Sources close to Lyston reveal that while she has secured the deal with Adidas, she remains committed to her education at LSU and has no intentions of opting out of school. The decision underscores her dedication to balancing her athletic pursuits with her academic endeavors.

A rising star in the world of athletics

Lyston’s remarkable performances on the track have garnered attention, with her recent achievements solidifying her status as one of the top collegiate athletes. At the Razorback Invitation on January 27, she clocked an impressive 7.07 seconds to secure victory in the women’s 60m event, establishing herself as the collegiate leader in the discipline.

Additionally, Lyston showcased her versatility by delivering a strong performance in the 200m event at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic on February 2, where she posted a time of 23.13 seconds to finish third. Her consistent success on the track has positioned her as a rising star in the world of athletics.
