Standing tall at 72 cm

Wildine, whose stature measures just 72 cm (28.3 in), took center stage at the “Runway of Dreams: A Fashion Revolution” event, a showcase hosted by former NFL linebacker Shaquem Griffin.

The event featured a diverse lineup of 70 models, each with unique disabilities and backgrounds.

Her participation in this event marked a significant milestone in her career as the first Guinness World Records title holder to grace the New York Fashion Week runway.

Target’s adaptive fashion and billy footwear

On the runway, Wildine confidently strutted her stuff wearing an ensemble from Target’s adaptive clothing line, paired with adaptive footwear from Billy Footwear.

According to Guinness World Records, she expressed her delight in the overall experience, from mingling with fellow models to meeting the show’s hosts and attendees.

Defying all odds with SADDAN Dysplasia

Wildine’s journey to this moment of triumph has been nothing short of remarkable. Born with the extremely rare condition known as SADDAN dysplasia, she defied grim expectations from the start.

Doctors initially believed she would not survive the first 24 hours of life, and she spent six months in hospice care before returning home to her family.

Now, at the age of 20, she has not only survived but thrived.

From medicine to art: A shift in career path

Wildine’s life took a different turn after being awarded the title of the shortest non-mobile woman living in 2021, at the age of 18.

Although initially considering a career in pharmacy, she followed her passion and is now pursuing a major in Graphic Design during her second year of college.

This shift reflects her deep-seated interest in the arts.

Lights, Camera, Action: Appearing in “Rumeysa: Walking Tall”

Wildine’s accomplishments do not stop at the runway.

She is set to make an appearance in the upcoming documentary, “Rumeysa: Walking Tall,” which focuses on the world’s tallest woman living.

The documentary will be available for streaming exclusively on Rakuten TV from December 21.
