In a thrilling encounter, Trinidad & Tobago secured a remarkable 2-1 victory against the United States. Alvin Jones became the hero of the match with a stunning second-half goal from a free kick.

Reon Moore had earlier equalized for the Soca Warriors after Antonee Robinson had given the United States the lead. Sergiño Dest’s two yellow cards in quick succession left the visitors with only 10 men. Trinidad & Tobago will now advance to a CNL play-in match against Canada in March 2023, with the winners earning spots in the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024.

Meanwhile, in League C, both Aruba and Dominica concluded their campaigns in style with resounding victories. Aruba defeated Cayman Islands 5-1, with Terence Groothusen scoring a brace. Dominica secured a convincing win against Turks & Caicos Islands, further showcasing their prowess in League C.

Montserrat ends campaign on a high

In Group B of League B, Montserrat ended their campaign on a high note, defeating Barbados 4-2. Brandon Barzey, Josiah Dyer, Rashad Jules, and Donervorn Daniels all found the net for the hosts, while Dominic Richmond sealed the victory with a late goal.

Lastly, Dominica closed out their campaign impressively with a victory over Turks & Caicos Islands in Road Town, Tortola. Audel Laville and Javid George were among the scorers in a solid performance by Dominica.
