Antetokounmpo, who finished with 33 points, emphasized the importance of closing out games: “Once you’re up 20, you’ve got to put them away. We weren’t able to do that tonight. Hopefully we can learn from this.”
Outscored the Bucks 41-25 in 4th quarter
Despite Miami’s determined effort in the fourth quarter, where they outscored the Bucks 41-25, the lead held firm for Milwaukee. A jumper by Duncan Robinson cut the lead to 115-109 with 1:22 left, but a critical three-point play by Antetokounmpo secured the victory.
Damian Lillard contributed 25 points for the Bucks, while Bobby Portis had 16. On the Heat’s side, Tyler Herro was the standout performer with 35 points, even in the absence of two-time All-Star center Bam Adebayo, who was sidelined due to a bruised hip.
