The City of Lauderhill has announced that it is now welcoming applications for its ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) Housing and Utility Assistance Program.
This initiative offers a one-time emergency relief for those who have outstanding rent, mortgage, or utility bills.
Its objective is to prevent potential evictions, delay foreclosures, or avoid disruptions to utility services for individuals adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligibility and selection
Applicants who are Lauderhill Residents only will be considered on a first come, first serve, and first completed application basis.
The city emphasizes its dedication to reaching as many households as possible, especially focusing on those who have not received assistance before.
Due to the soaring demand and finite funds, there will be no reassessment of previously greenlit applications.
