Weinstein was first convicted of first-degree criminal sexual act and third-degree rape in 2020 and sentenced to 23 years in prison. The conviction was overturned on appeal last April with prosecutors electing to not drop the charges. Weinsteins re-trial is scheduled to begin on April 15.
