The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has officially named Omar McFarlane, a distinguished businessman and philanthropist, as the Ambassador for the U17 Reggae Boyz.
This strategic appointment comes as the team gears up for the World Cup qualifiers scheduled to commence next year.
McFarlane, who has deep connections to both Jamaica and Florida, is renowned for being the founder of the Champion Football Club in South Florida. Champion is a non-profit travel football club dedicated to providing Jamaican youth players with opportunities to display their talents in the competitive Florida travel league.
In his new role, McFarlane will be instrumental in securing essential funding and support to help the U17 Reggae Boyz succeed in their quest to qualify for the U17 World Cup, slated for 2025 in Qatar. His commitment to youth development and football excellence positions him as an ideal advocate for the young Jamaican talents on the global stage.

Expressing his enthusiasm for this new role, McFarlane remarked, “I am honored to be appointed as the Ambassador for the U17 Reggae Boyz.
