CASTRIES, St Lucia — Prime Minister of St Lucia, Philip J Pierre, has hailed the St Lucia Kings for their remarkable achievement in winning their first-ever Caribbean Premier League (CPL) title.
The Kings secured their maiden title with a thrilling six-wicket victory over defending champions Guyana Amazon Warriors in the CPL final held at Providence Stadium on Sunday night.
Pierre congratulated the St Lucia Kings on behalf of the entire nation, praising their resilience and determination throughout the tournament, according to a statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister on Monday.
