The women’s delegation returns to Montego Bay at 1:20 pm via United Airlines, flight UA 1163. They were beaten 4-0 last night in Houston.

The men’s delegation arrives into the Norman Manley International Airport at 4:23pm via American Airlines, flight AA 0532.

However senior team men’s Head Coach Theodore Whitmore arrives in Montego Bay at 9:27am on flight AA 1563.

The Boyz were humiliated by a similar scoreline by the Japan Olympic team.

The 20-year-old Takefusa Kubo opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, before VfB Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo (42nd), forward Ayase Ueda (57th) and midfielder Ritsu Doan (63rd) saw their side home comfortably.

Saturday’s game represents the last preparations for the CONCACAF Gold Cup and World Cup qualifiers.

They had played out a 1-1 result against Serbia last Monday in Kobe, but saw their originally planned game against Japan Senior team in Saporro cancelled because they couldn’t field a full complement of players for the game.

Half of the squad encountered delays arriving in Japan because of improper COVID-19 testing.
