The duo’s inclusion in the squad adds depth and experience to the team ahead of the crucial encounter at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.

Jason Holder, the former Test and One-Day captain of West Indies, will feature in his first regional first-class match in four years. His return is eagerly anticipated after opting out of recent international tours to focus on franchise T20 cricket. Similarly, Kemar Roach will make his comeback to regional first-class cricket after a four-year absence, bringing with him his wealth of experience as the fifth-highest wicket-taker in Tests for West Indies.

Barbados currently third in the championship standings

The presence of Holder and Roach is expected to bolster Barbados Pride’s bowling attack, complementing the existing talents in the squad. Led by current Test skipper Kraigg Brathwaite, the team aims to capitalize on the duo’s expertise to secure a positive result against the Harpy Eagles.

With Barbados currently third in the championship standings, the return of Holder and Roach provides a timely boost as they seek to climb up the table and challenge the top teams. The squad, led by Brathwaite, is determined to make the most of the valuable additions and showcase their prowess in the upcoming fixture.

Squad: Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Shaquille Cumberbatch, Shane Dowrich, Chaim Holder, Chemar Holder, Jason Holder, Jair McAllister, Zachary McCaskie, Raymon Reifer, Kemar Roach, Jomel Warrican, Jonathan Drakes, Shian Brathwaite.
