Thousands of jobs up for grabs at Mega South Florida Job Fair in Sunrise

South Florida job seekers, take note: thousands of job opportunities will be up for grabs during the Mega South Florida Job Fair happening Wednesday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.

Hiring managers and recruiters from a wide range of companies and organizations—including the Florida Panthers & Amerant Bank Arena, the City of Sunrise, Coral Springs, Florida Department of Corrections, Dunkin’ Donuts, and the Sunrise Police Department—will be on site, with several positions expected to be filled on the spot.

Organizers are encouraging applicants to pre-register online or simply show up at the door. Admission and parking are free. The event will support job openings across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

A variety of companies and agencies will be recruiting for roles across different sectors, from public safety to health services to city administration. Some highlights include:

  • United Way of Broward County MISSION UNITED is hiring for several positions such as Expanded Learning Coordinator, Housing Stability Coordinator, and Major Gifts Officer, offering attractive perks like 6–8 weeks of paid vacation, flexible work schedules, and a robust benefits package.

  • City of Coral Springs has openings for Art Instructors, Firefighters, Paramedics, Law Enforcement Officers, Lifeguards, and more, with added benefits like free employee health clinics and gym memberships.

  • City of Hollywood is offering high-paying roles including Senior Structural Plan Examiners and Engineering Analysts, plus the option of a 4-day workweek for better work-life balance.

  • City of Sunrise is recruiting Certified and Non-Certified Police Officers, Building Inspectors, Lifeguards, Administrative Assistants, and seasonal summer camp staff, with competitive salaries, pension plans, and impressive benefit packages.

The event is sponsored by a mix of local governments, major employers, and community organizations, including the Florida Panthers, Amerant Bank Arena, Cox Media Group, City of Sunrise, City of Hollywood, CareerSource Broward, and many others.
