The City of North Miami is kicking off its 2025 Haitian Heritage Month Celebration with a vibrant slate of events throughout May, honoring the theme “Nou La! Haitian Footprints in America.” The month-long series recognizes the contributions of the Haitian community through music, food, dance, literature, and community wellness.
“This celebration is a tribute to the rich heritage and lasting impact of Haitians in America,” city officials said in a statement. “It’s a time to come together as a community and reflect on our roots while embracing the future.”
