Detectives from the Miami Dade Police Department are investigating a shooting incident that left two teens and one adult male injured.
According to investigators, on November 21st, 2024, at approximately 7:14 p.m. officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of NW 65th Street & NW 22nd Avenue. Once officers arrived, they discovered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds to their lower extremities. The victims were transported by Miami Dade Fire Rescue to JMH Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition. Preliminary investigation reveals that the three victims ages 15, 17 and 22 were standing outside of a vacant lot when an unknown subject approached them, produced a firearm, and fired several shots in their direction before fleeing the area in an unknown direction. The relationship between the victims and the shooter, as well as a motive remains unknown.
