Miami-Dade County Housing and Community Development (HCD) will open its Site-Based waitlists for the Project-Based Voucher (PBV) program beginning Monday, June 9, 2025, at 8 a.m. The application window will remain open through Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
Applications will be accepted online only at miamidadevoucher.myhousing.com and will be available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Residents can apply using any internet-enabled device.
“This program is just one example of what Miami-Dade County is doing to ensure that every resident of Miami-Dade has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing,” said Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Access to affordable housing is essential for the well-being and stability of our residents, which is why we continue investing in innovative and inclusive housing solutions that respond to the needs of our diverse communities.”
Applicants who were on the 2024 Tenant-Based waitlist and applied during Phase One of the site-based openings will receive priority. Those applying during this Phase Two window will be entered into a computer-generated lottery. Placement on a waitlist is not guaranteed, and applicants must meet program eligibility requirements, including income limits and specific property criteria.
“This is one of the most important access points for affordable housing in our County,” said Nathan Kogon, Interim Director of Housing and Community Development. “Our department is committed to making the process as accessible and equitable as possible for our residents. We encourage residents to apply early and reach out for support if they need help submitting their application.”
Assistance will be available during business hours at participating public libraries and Community Action and Human Services (CAHSD) locations throughout the county for those without internet access.
