Broward County Authorities are investigating the discovery of the body of a man was discovered floating in a canal in unincorporated central Broward.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said it received a call shortly after noon on Saturday about a body spotted near the 2500 block of Northwest Sixth Street.
Deputies and members of the agency’s dive team responded and recovered the body.
They said detectives with BSO’s Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No other details about the man were immediately released.
