In a statement, Jet Global Services Guyana Inc. expressed excitement about launching its chartered international flight operations, which will connect Guyana to Europe, North America, and South America starting in July 2025. The airline described this initiative as a significant milestone in positioning Guyana as a key hub for global connectivity, aimed at driving economic growth and enhancing travel opportunities for both citizens and visitors.

In collaboration with GullivAir, based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Luna Jets in Paris, France, Jet Global Services is set to transform air travel in Guyana. GullivAir’s advanced Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with a capacity of 269 seats in business, premium, and economy classes, promises a travel experience marked by comfort and elegance.

Each passenger will be allowed two 23-kg check-in suitcases and 8-kg hand luggage, with additional capacity for cargo, catering to both leisure and business travelers.

GullivAir is in the final stages of obtaining the necessary approvals from the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority, with expectations to receive them in the coming weeks.

Jet Global Services will operate flights to and from Cheddi Jagan International Airport, offering direct, non-stop connections to key international destinations, including:

  • Georgetown to London, United Kingdom (with negotiations for transit through Barbados, Tobago, Antigua, and St. Lucia)
  • Georgetown to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Georgetown to Toronto, Canada (twice a week)
  • Georgetown to New York, USA

This expansion aims to enhance global connectivity and provide more convenient travel options for passengers in Guyana and beyond.
