The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has raised an alarm due to the surge in burglaries in the UK overseas territory.
Reports are that over the past week, residential properties and businesses have fallen victim to a series of break-ins and attempted burglaries, resulting in the loss of cash and valuable possessions.
Police vow to crack down on criminals
Commissioner of Police Mark Collins has assured the public that the RVIPF is leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to apprehend the culprits.
He stated that the country’s officers are committed to investigating and prosecuting the offenders of these crimes.
He added that the public’s help is needed in identifying and apprehending these criminals.
