Platinum Plaque for Dancehall Artiste Popcaan

Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan, who is featured on American rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s debut album Good News is set to receive a platinum plaque.

This as Good News was certified platinum for sales of more than a million copies by the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A.A) on Wednesday, July 14.

The album was released In November by “300 Entertainment and 1501 certified” and features some of the rap industry’s biggest names such as Beyonce, Da Baby, Lil Durk, Young Thug and more.

Popcaan is featured on the track Intercourse, which has over 1.3M views on YouTube.

Good News debuted at numbers 2 and 1 on the Billboard 200 albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop album charts respectively.
