Produced by YGF Records and Scotty’s Muziq, the track delivers a playful lyrical exchange between the two artists, with Pablo opening with assertive, no-nonsense verses and Ashley responding in kind with a cool, confident delivery that flips the script. Their on-record chemistry is palpable as they navigate a teasing, back-and-forth dynamic layered over a vocal-sample-driven beat.

“Platinum Buff” follows Pablo YG’s recent release “Maui Wowie” and comes on the heels of his first sold-out show in the UK. The 21-year-old artist—real name Romeo Hines—has already amassed over 100 million YouTube views, performed at Reggae Sumfest, and received accolades at the 2024 International Reggae and World Music Awards, where he was named Best Teen Entertainer and Most Promising Entertainer.

Known for his breakout single “Rich N Richer” and the hit Bad Juvi mixtape, Pablo YG has also collaborated with big names like Skillibeng, Valiant, and Kranium. His debut album, Key to the Century, is expected later this year.

Stalk Ashley, who brings her genre-blending edge and undeniable charisma to the track, matches Pablo’s energy bar for bar—making “Platinum Buff” not just a duet, but a true musical showdown.

The single will be available on all major digital platforms starting May 23.
