The Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to hosting a safe, family-friendly festival that promotes community pride, cultural exchange, and civic engagement.

In 2024, Miami Carnival celebrated its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of showcasing the creativity, unity, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Caribbean community.

Looking ahead

The newly appointed officers aim to build on the success of the 40th anniversary and strengthen the impact of Miami Carnival, both culturally and economically. Under their leadership, the festival will continue to highlight the richness of Caribbean culture while fostering community connection and pride.

“As Chair of the Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee, I am honored to lead a dedicated team in continuing the rich legacy of Miami Carnival,” said Joan Hinkson. “This celebration is more than just a festival—it is a dynamic showcase of Caribbean culture, community pride, and artistic excellence. Our 40th-anniversary celebration exemplified our community’s resilience and creativity. Moving forward, our team is committed to elevating this cherished tradition and ensuring it remains a symbol of cultural pride and economic growth for South Florida.”
