The Kingston-born singer, songwriter, and producer continues to captivate audiences locally and globally with her unique sound and compelling artistry.

The single, produced by GRAMMY-nominated J.L.L. (Drake) and GRAMMY-winning IzyBeats (Koffee), marks a major milestone in her rising career. Reflecting on the song’s themes, Elise describes it as “one of freedom, vulnerability, and growth.” She explains, “It’s the kind of love that makes you feel nostalgic—unapologetic and overflowing with joy, peace, and authenticity.”

The accompanying music video, co-directed by Elise and 300k, serves as a tribute to her homeland. “The visuals are a love letter to Jamaica and to myself,” she says. “Being rooted in this culture is unforgettable; there’s nothing like it. Jamaica is my heart, and I see it through a deeply romantic lens.”

Unforgettable follows the success of her Spring 2024 hit, Gunman, praised by Billboard as a “deliciously dramatic mixture of R&B and reggae.” The track builds on her impressive discography, including fan favorites Fresh & Clean, Rice & Peas, and her acclaimed 2021 debut EP, The Golden Hour.

With her highly anticipated debut album set for release in 2025, Unforgettable offers a glimpse of Jaz Elise’s continued evolution as a vibrant voice in contemporary music.
