Deering Estate to hosts Moonlight & Music Valentine’s Day Concert under the stars

The “Moonlight & Music” Valentine’s Day Concert at the Deering Estate invites couples and friends to celebrate love under the stars on Friday evening, February 14, 2025. Guests can bring their own picnic, preorder food, or purchase meals on-site. Once settled in with their lawn chairs or blankets, they can enjoy the performances of this year’s featured artists, Clauda Lopez and Deja. It’s a perfect evening for a romantic or fun night out in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Claudia is a versatile musician known for her ability to perform a wide range of musical styles, from Pop/R&B and Musical Theatre to Jazz, Blues, Salsa, and Latin-Jazz. While her songwriting often centers on the Pop/R&B genre, her Latin roots and jazz education add a unique depth to her music.

Deja is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and vocal producer whose talent spans pop, rock, and R&B. A multi-talented performer, she also plays guitar, bringing a heartfelt and authentic quality to her live performances. Whether delivering powerful rock ballads or soulful acoustic renditions, Deja’s artistry is sure to leave a lasting impact on her audience.

Moonlight & Music starts at 8 p.m. There are four entry times to choose from when purchasing tickets: 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and small picnic baskets. Please note that the following items are not permitted: pets, large coolers, open flames/candles, balloons, and pop-up tents. Please note that the Museums are closed during this event. No sales/tickets sold at the gate. Tickets are non-refundable, rain or shine. 

Pre-ordered food and picnic baskets from Joanna’s Marketplace will be available for pick up at the concert. Please call the catering department at 305-661-5777 to place your order. Limited refreshments and food will be available for purchase at the concert.

General Admission or Private Balcony Seating is available:

General Admission: 
General admission open seating is available on the front lawn, in front of the two Historic House Museums, in the Royal Palm Grove and on the Boat Basin Jetties. General admission tickets are $70 per person, plus tax.

Deering Estate Foundation Members receive a 10% discount on general admission tickets, with the members-only promo code. Before purchasing General Admission tickets, please contact the Deering Estate Foundation by email by clicking HERE to request the member discount promo code.

Private Balcony Seating: 
Private seating on one of the Historic Stone House balconies is available to reserve for four to eight people and will include a high-top table(s) with seating and private restroom access for balcony ticket holders only, as well as reserved parking and dessert & wine sponsored by the Deering Estate Foundation. Private balconies range from $690-$2,185. Private balcony seating can be purchased online.

Estate, located at 16701 SW 72 Ave. in Miami, is a 21st Century house museum, cultural and ecological field station, and a national landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida and managed by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. Deering Estate is designated as one of seven Miami-Dade County “Heritage Parks” which have a vital role in our community’s history, environment and in providing recreational and cultural experiences.
