Celebrating cinematic creativity: iGen film festival returns to Miami

The 8th annual iGen Film Festival is slated to unfold from October 26 to 29, 2023, at the legendary Black Archives-Historic Lyric Theater in Miami. Spanning four days, this cinematic affair promises to captivate audiences from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Spotlight on Youth: “Reel to Reel Youth Day”

An undeniable highlight, the “Reel to Reel Youth Day” is pegged for October 27, 2023. 

Young film enthusiasts can not only soak in the festivity but also earn community service hours, a win-win for high school students.

Behind the curtains: Sponsors and support

The grandeur of the event is magnified by the support of The Simpkins Family Foundation as the title sponsor. 

Additionally, invaluable backing comes from the Southeast Overtown Parkwest Community Redevelopment Agency and the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau.
