During the fifth day of drive-thru testing on April 4, four additional lanes for testing were opened and 46 staff from the Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s C. L. Brumback Primary Clinics tested a total of 724 patients.

While the average age of person tests was 50 years old, twenty-seven children were tested and the youngest patient was 9 months old.

Test results can take five to six days although the lab has targeted 72 hours.

The Health Care District’s COVID-19 Screening Center received over 15,000 calls in the first hour Friday morning. During that time, representatives scheduled all available drive-thru appointments (670) for Monday, April 6th.

The call center hotline, 561-642-1000, will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday morning to schedule appointments for drive-thru testing on Tuesday, April 7th (pending receipt of additional test kits).
