Port St. Lucie defeat Florida Cricket Academy by 84 runs in the South Florida Cricket Alliance 35 overs competition last Sunday at Miramar Regional Park North.
St. Lucie having won the toss, decided to bat first, making 212 for 7 from their allotted 35 overs. Steve Dutchin 39 not out, Roger Joshua 34, Shamar Forde 33 and Jediah Blades 30 were the main contributors. Bowling for Florida Cricket Academy, captain Gaston Walker picked up 4 for 27 from seven overs. In reply,
Florida Cricket Academy was bowled out for 128. There were some 41 extras in the Academy innings. Zachary Sattaur was the next best, 34 and Hafeez Sattaur 30 were the only batsmen to get into double figures. Elton Tucker Jr. took 3 for 21 and John Withby 2 for 22. Port St. Lucie won by 84 runs.
