South Florida Cricket Alliance T/20 Tournament bowled off last Sunday

In Port St. Lucie at Girl Scout Friendship Park, St. Lucie took on Southshore.

The toss was won by Southshore who decided to take first strike, posting a measly 107 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs. Sylvester Hickey 36 not out and captain Michael Nenbhard 25 were the only batsmen to get into double figures. The pick of the bowler for St. Lucie was John Whitby with 4 for 27 which included a hat trick.

Replying, St. Lucie was made to work hard to overhaul Southshore small total as they struggled at 42 for 5  in over number twelve before Richard Louis walked to the crease to partner Charles Reid. The pair added a valuable 31 runs before Richard Louie departed with the score on 73 for 6, with his personal contribution of 18 runs. It was left up to Charles Reid 38 not out  and Elton Tucker Jr. 12 not out to get St. Lucie across the line with two balls to spare. Steve Dutchin also chipped in with 15 runs. Bowling for Southshore, Moxie Gayle 2 for 13 and Michael Nembhard 2 for 27. St. Lucie won by four wickets.

Lauderhill Jammers vs. Tropics United at the Lauderhill Sports Park.

Lauderhill Jammers 146 All Out. Timmy Surujbally 56, , Gavin Wallace 42 and Gayton Williams 22. Bowling for Tropics, Kimoy Salmon and Marcel Graham each taking two wickets for 16 and 23 respectively.

In reply, Tropics made 152 for 3. Bert Davis 47 Not Out, Phillimore David 38 Not Out, Ernie Joseph 27, St. Christopher Brown 22 and Richard Keddon 15. David Brathwaite was the pick of the bowler for Jammers with 2 for 32. Tropics won by seven wickets.
