WHAT:         Miami-Dade Schools Police Department Hiring/Job Fair for Certified and Non-Certified School Resource Officers (SROs)

 WHY:            Earlier this month, Miami-Dade voters resoundingly supported Proposition 362, a measure that not only provides for adequate teacher compensation but guarantees additional funding for the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department (MDSPD). To fulfill a state mandate and honor our commitment to ensure an armed law enforcement officer at every Miami-Dade County public school, the MDSPD in collaboration with the Office of Human Capital Management, will be hosting a job and hiring fair for those interested in becoming SROs.
