In a significant diplomatic development, the government of Guyana on Sunday unveiled plans to fortify its bilateral relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This collaborative initiative aims to bolster cooperation in several pivotal areas of development, encompassing food security, energy, technology, capacity building, and cultural and social exchanges.
A strategic meeting at the UN Climate Conference
This latest development follows a high-level meeting between UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Guyana’s President Irfaan Ali. The encounter took place on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Conference in Dubai which is scheduled to conclude tomorrow.
