This hybrid event, following the inaugural 2022 conference, will focus on strategic approaches to country risk management as a means of driving more resilient and sustainable development outcomes across the region.

As Caribbean nations continue to grapple with overlapping financial, climate-related, and sovereign risks, the two-day forum will serve as a platform for reflection, collaboration, and solution-building. The agenda will revisit key themes from the first conference, assess regional progress, and identify remaining gaps in resilience-building efforts.

According to the CDB, participants will co-create practical strategies to strengthen institutions, foster knowledge-sharing, and enhance policy and planning frameworks.

Who should attend?

The conference is aimed at policymakers, planners, civil society organisations, youth advocates, academics, development professionals, and leaders from both the public and private sectors with a stake in advancing regional sustainability and resilience.

Organisers are encouraging early interest as more details about registration and programming will be shared in the coming weeks.

“This forum comes at a critical time for the Caribbean, as the region navigates a growing range of complex risks that threaten long-term development,” the CDB said in a statement.

Participants can expect robust discussions on innovative risk financing, disaster preparedness, institutional reform, and climate adaptation.

Save the date: September 3–4, 2025.
Stay tuned for further updates on how to register and participate in this pivotal regional event.
