Honduras head coach Jorge Luis Pinto named an 18-man squad for an international friendly against Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz on February 16, at the BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.
It will be the Catrachos’ first match since capturing the Copa Centroamericana title last month, finishing on top of the six-team table with 13 points to qualify for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Real España midfielder Jorge Claros, who earned Copa Centroamericana’s GoldenR Ball honors is one of the stars of the squad. Also meriting call-ups were three members of the Copa’s Bext XI — Motagua forwards Erick Andino and Rubilio Castillo, each of whom scored two goals, and Honduras Progreso defender Jairo Puerto.
