The deadline for voters to be eligible to participate was December 29, 2025.

For residents wishing to vote by mail, the deadline to request a ballot is 5:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026. Under Florida law, all Vote-by-Mail requests expire after a general election, so voters must ensure they have a current request on file. The Supervisor of Elections’ office can confirm whether a voter will receive a mail ballot.

There will be no Early Voting for this election. On Election Day, all voters must cast their ballots at their assigned precincts, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“Local elections play a critical role in shaping the future of our neighborhoods and communities,” said Alina Garcia, Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections. “These elections determine leadership decisions that directly affect residents’ daily lives. Our office is committed to providing clear information and secure, accessible voting options so that every eligible voter in Florida City can confidently participate. I encourage voters to review the deadlines, make a plan, and ensure their voices are heard.”

Voters can check their sample ballot, verify registration status, request a Vote-by-Mail ballot, and locate their precinct by visiting votemiamidade.gov or calling 305-499-VOTE (8683).
