The Jamaica Social Stock Exchange (JSSE), the social arm of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Intelligent Multimedia Limited (IML) on June 24, 2025.
Through this partnership, IML will utilize more than 500 electronic billboards across the island to promote and spotlight JSSE-supported projects within communities. The initiative is expected to boost public awareness of the JSSE’s work and encourage broader national participation in strengthening Jamaica’s social fabric.
Intelligent Multimedia Limited is Jamaica’s leading indoor digital advertising company, operating a dynamic network of over 50 digital screens in high-traffic locations. These include government offices such as the Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ), as well as supermarkets, hospitals, quick-service restaurants, and other public waiting areas where audiences are engaged and attentive.
Dr. Marlene Street Forrest, managing director, JSE, in her welcome, stated that “I am delighted for this partnership and the signing of an MOU, which demonstrates both companies’ commitment to the development of the social ecosystem of Jamaica. IML’s partnership and service, which is at no cost to the JSSE cannot be understated as its platform enables more Jamaicans to be know and be involved with the JSSE.”
JSSE Manager, Miss Nora Blake, also expressed her profound thanks to the IML management team, who accepted the invitation to partner with the Jamaica Social Stock Exchange. Miss Blake said this MOU is timely, especially since the JSSE has just launched its biggest fundraising project, a car raffle in partnership with JetCon, FESCO and General Accident Insurance, where the winner will receive a 2026 BEIJING X55 with one year’s supply of gas and three years’ comprehensive insurance. She further noted that the reach of IML will produce great results.
Mr. Marc Robinson, IML General Manager, at the signing stated that it was an easy decision as the work of the JSSE aligns with IML’s corporate core value under their “Inspire for Good” project. The concept of giving back is one of the pillars of IML’s social programme.
Under this MOU, Intelligent Multimedia will support the JSSE initiatives by:
- Creating a storyline for promoting the JSSE projects and programmes for its electronic billboards.
- Allow projects under the JSSE’s supervision to use the space allocated to JSSE to promote events on electronic billboards.
- Waive the users’ processing fee for any project to the JSSE.
Mr. Robinson also encourages individuals to scan the QR code on the ads to purchase tickets or visit the JSSE website www.jsse.jamstockex.com and support a worthy cause.
Andrew Pairman, founder of IML, noted that IML has always supported the JSE, and the opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the two brands was an opportunity he could not pass up. Mr. Pairman, who has served on a number foundation boards, understands the impact of social intervention on the beneficiaries and the country.
