A video, making the rounds on social media, purportedly showed the 30-year-old repeatedly punching his wife while their young daughter tried to stop him. After the purported assault, James exited the building while his daughter chased after him. The incident reportedly happened on August 30 at James’ daughter’s daycare which is located in Friendswood, Texas.

According to reports the woman reportedly suffered a concussion, a broken hand and a broken finger. Her face, back and arms were also allegedly swollen after the attack.

James was arrested following the latest incident, on August 31, and charged with violation of protective order or bond conditions as well as the assault. The violation has a condition which requires that James wear an ankle monitor which he has already been doing since March.

A woman said to be his wife posted the video online asking the question: “what do you do when you get an automated call that your husband – who has already assaulted you – is out on bond again?”

“If anything happens to me, it was him. I need help,” the woman said in the video showing CCTV footage of James apparently punching her several times.

“He has a lot of people helping him because they don’t know how bad the abuse is. If I don’t speak up, something is going to happen to me. I am very much afraid,” she said.

Jorginho James made his senior debut for the Jamaican national team at age 17 while attending Kingston College in 2012. He also represented Harbour View in the local premier league, before moving overseas where he had several short spells, mostly trials at various clubs. He also played for the Houston Dynamos.

He is reportedly currently a coach for a football academy.
